The PORTALS network reaches another continent. Brazil joins the global project.

The PORTALS network of installations continues to grow rapidly. Last Saturday marked the opening of the seventh portal in the world – this time in Brazil. It is an important moment for a project that connects cities and people in real time, creating a global space for encounters beyond smartphone screens and social media.

The new installation in South America significantly expands the initiative’s reach. Brazil is the first country in the region to join the PORTALS network, giving the project an even more intercontinental dimension.

The opening of the Brazilian portal drew considerable interest from both residents and the media. Initial reactions show that the project not only captures attention but also genuinely engages, sparking emotions, curiosity, and a sense of participation in a global, cross-continental experience.

PORTALS is not just about technology – it is прежде wszystkim an experience. These interactive “windows” enable spontaneous encounters between people from different cultures. Passersby become participants in a global dialogue happening here and now.

The development of PORTALS shows no signs of slowing down. New locations are already being planned, and the project continues to strengthen its position as one of the most distinctive installations combining art, technology, and public space.

Entering Brazil is not just another point on the map. It is proof that the need for authentic human connection is stronger today than ever.

In Poland, the project is coordinated by our ROZDROŻA Centre in Lublin, which actively contributes to the development of the network and the presence of the portals in public space.
